Greetings- I'm working on a model of Frisco 47864 using a photo available online. I'm not sure what to do for a roof and would love some help from this group. I model 1946. I don't have SLSF roster information my search of the list archives was somewhat general and produced no answer. Regards, David Snook Wichita, KS

The sunshine sheet says it's a Sampson radial roof, if anyone knows more. That's a new manufacturer to me.

The sunshine sheet says it's a Sampson radial roof, if anyone knows more. That's a new manufacturer to me.Actually, it says it's a Samson roof. Samson Steel Underframe Co was incorporated in 1907 and discontinued in 1916. I suspect, but do not know for certain, that these roofs could be 'related'. Samson made a patented steel underframe that was applied to AT&SF and NYDX cars; others are possible, but I have no further data. Earl Tuson |

Charlie Duckworth had a great looking model of this car, Sunshine model. Maybe he can share photos with you. I assume he also has the Sunshine instructions and promo sheets.
Hundman’s Stock Car Cyclopedia has a section on Frisco stock cars but nothing additional to what you already have on this series.
