Not Buckeye but those look like late Hutchins.  SU's did not come with Buckeye as far as I know.

Fenton’s right. They came with T-brace, early and late Hutchins ends, but no buckeye end version have I heard of.  Westerfield has a good description of these car variants and models of each.

Interestingly, these were some of the latest truss rod boxcars built (1924-1928) in large numbers. Their smaller size fit nicely with the LTC and agricultural products, and the Southern found the cheaper cars also fit nicely with the budget.  They show up everywhere and Ted Culotta included them in the essential  freight car series. A few were converted to pulpwood cars in the 40’s but there were plenty throughout the 50’s.

Chance you can save a better copy of the scan say "TIF" might be able to zoom in better.  Looks like both "far cars" might be Southern. Left does look like a Hutchins end.

Yes the second car is the furniture car, the one Sunshine made the 40 ft double sheathed (148000-149999)

Yes, I see the number now , 340254 is what I read so that is from the later series built in 1930 (340200-340299) actually they went from 340000-340999.  Southern owned 5750 of these cars.
Some were later converted to pulpwood racks.
