Nice photo Bob.  Bagnell was at the end of the branchline south out of Jefferson City.  Charlie Duckworth has done a magnificent job modeling this area but not this era.  I am sure he has seen the photo.  This abandoned branch is easy to follow through some great Missouri scenery. Jerry Michels

Years ago, I found this St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern stock car at a swap meet. It was a nicely assembled wood kit. I bought it and thought about researching this  railroad, but never did. Long live the StL.I.M.&S.!

Max Gray imported in O scale a stock car with doors on the bottom. Long ago my research turned up that the prototype was an StLIM&S car: <https://www.brasstrains.com/BrassGuide/Pdg/Detail/36197/O-Rolling-Stock-Livestock-Car-Max-Gray-230-GENERAL-Misc-Roads> You can see the doors in the photos. As with many older models the paint job is likely a foobie.

Off the top of my head, I question that attribution; my recollection is that it was based on a UP prototype.
Moreover, it had a steel underframe (no trussrods), and the Iron Mountain lost its independent existence before those
were common.
