They look rather alike. I know they are rebuilds of rather different vehicles - WAB's from USRA-like DS clones vs L&N's from ARA 1924 boxcars, but what are the major differences?
Lots of surface similarities - rectangular panel roof, same YSD 6' door, 10-panel sides, 3-7-8 ends.
IH of the L&N cars was 10' I assume since the capacity is the same as a 1937 AAR. Don't know about the WAB cars?
Ladders vary.
And I don't know about door fittings, and I assume the underframes are vastly different ? .
