I had the good fortune of reviewing some CBCs this morning ranging from 1937 to 1946. I remembered part of this thread, especially about how boxcar rebuilds could be modeled with different sides and ends from a manufactuer. This section from the 1937 edition gives some background on how it was done on some prototype railroads with a manufacturer's product. Bruce D. Griffin
